Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 2026-06-16
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Digihood uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage and session storage) when you visit or use our website and application.
By continuing to use Digihood, you agree to the use of these technologies as described in this policy.
2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites and applications. Local storage and session storage are similar browser-based storage mechanisms used by modern web applications.
They help websites remember information about your visit, maintain secure sessions, and improve user experience.
3. How Digihood Uses These Technologies
Digihood relies almost entirely on browser local storage and session storage rather than traditional cookies. We use them for:
- User authentication and session management
- Keeping you signed in between visits
- Storing your workspace and interface preferences
- Maintaining secure access to the application
These items are necessary for Digihood to operate properly. We do not use cookies or storage for advertising, marketing, profiling, or cross-site tracking.
4. Essential Storage Currently in Use
The following first-party items may be created when you use Digihood. All are classified as essential / functional:
- Supabase auth session (local storage) — keeps you signed in. Created by our authentication provider, Supabase.
- Workspace state (local storage key
digihood:v1) — stores your tools, settings, and workspace data locally in your browser. - Provisioning intent (local and session storage) — remembers which plan you selected during the sign-up flow.
- Sidebar state (cookie
sidebar:state) — remembers whether the application sidebar is expanded or collapsed.
These items cannot be disabled without affecting the operation of Digihood.
5. Analytics Cookies
Digihood does not currently use any analytics tools, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking scripts.
If analytics technologies are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
6. Marketing and Advertising Cookies
Digihood does not use advertising or marketing cookies. We do not run ad networks, retargeting pixels, or third-party advertising trackers.
If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated.
7. Third-Party Services
Certain third-party providers used by Digihood may set their own cookies on their own domains when you interact with them. These are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies:
- Supabase — authentication and database backend.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google; cookies are set on Google domains during the OAuth flow.
- Polar — our payment provider; cookies may be set on Polar domains during checkout.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — may set cookies required to deliver and secure the service.
8. Managing Cookies and Storage
Most browsers allow you to:
- View cookies and local storage
- Delete cookies and local storage
- Block cookies
- Configure cookie preferences
Disabling or clearing essential items will sign you out of Digihood and may reset your local workspace preferences.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time.
Updated versions will be published with a revised "Last Updated" date.
